
Colorado Horseback Rides
Get familiar with a Colorado horseback riding trip before the season at RMOOC. This opportunity allows you to see the native landscape where you could be hunting this fall. Or just get out with the family for an exciting adventure.
Enjoy a summer horse riding tour as we offer several pre-planned rates. These will include horse rides ranging from as little as an hour to 2.5 hours in length. We welcome riders of all ages, but please see our policies below. There is plenty of high-country scenery and fishing.
All you will need to bring is your your camera! Everything else is provided for you on your Colorado horseback riding tour.

1-1.5 hr Ride
- Pony Experience – $25/Rider
Ages 1-6yrs old
Lap around the barn and paint the pony - Lakota Ride (Local) – Max 10 guests – $75/Rider
Minimum age 8yrs old
Approximately 1 hour in the saddle - Wrangler’s Breakfast – Max 10 guests – $90/Rider
Minimum age 8yrs old
Approximately 1.5 hours in the saddle
Includes meal – only offered Monday & Friday at 8am.
2-2.5 hr Ride
- Chalk Cliffs Ride – Max 10 guests – $110/Rider
Minimum age 10yrs old
Steeper ride, rocky terrain
Approximately 2 hours in the saddle - Sunset Ride – Max 10 guests – $110/Rider
Minimum age 10yrs old
Approximately 2 hours in the saddle - Brown’s Creek Waterfall Ride – Max 10 guests – $225/Rider
Minimum age 10yrs old
Approximately 2.5 hours in the saddle
Includes meal – Requires trailering - Ridge Ride – Max 10 guests – $195/Rider
Minimum age 12yrs old
Approximately 2 hours in the saddle
Very technical ride, only for confident and/or experienced riders
Horseback Riding
ADVENTURE POLICIES
- Riders must be 7 years or older to go on a trail ride
- Pony Rides are limited to 6 and under
- Must be able to mount and dismount a horse with minimal assistance from wranglers
- Riding speed is at the discretion of the wrangler(s) on the ride, and rides are at the level of the least experience horse/rider pair.
- Adventurers must Check-In at the Office 30 mins prior to even start time to sign waivers.
