Our region produces many highly sought trophy moose. Since the reintroduction of moose to the state in the early 2000’s, the moose population has thrived and grown exponentially. Moose are naturally attracted to open areas and the low wetlands which are abundant in Colorado plains. The hunting season is perfectly coordinated with the rut or breeding season.

We regularly see Boone-and-Crockett sized moose and these extremely vocal giants give hunters an opportunity to harvest a trophy most hunters dream about. Hearing a cow bellow or a bull grunt in search of a mate or watching a bull rake, staking his territory is priceless.
